THOUGHT: Beauty is in the eye of the beholderTalking to Sam today I had a blogging epiphany xD. It's something that I've always known and believed but I realized like 20 minutes ago that I wanted to share it with the world. Well, whatever small audience this blog might reach really. So here's my theory :
Everyone out there, anyone and everyone, has the potential to be a pretty person. Maybe some more than others but everyone is beautiful. It's about finding the person you are, what you want to look like and making that work for you. It's about knowing your body. It doesn't matter if you have dry dull hair, a natural low metabolism, big boned, dry skin, short legs. None of that matters. Its how you present yourself and your confidence. I'm not talking about being cocky, I'm talking about knowing yourself and not letting how other people perceive you, affect you. You can be beautiful, but if you don't believe it, your audience won't either. Besides this, it's also about taking your negative attributes and turning it into something positive. If you gain weight very easily, it's about watching your diet, if that's not something you want to do then it's about doing more exercise to fit your diet. Life is a balance and when that balance is a found a confidence is formed and along with that is beauty. In chaos, beauty is rarely found but can be found.

THOUGHT: It's your life and its all about you. Your opinions, your thoughts and your preferences. Don't let those around you influence your decision. As long as you're true to yourself, you'll be happy. OMG I can hardly believe it myself .. I'm a twilight fan ?!?! O.o Whoa, where'd Elaine go. xD. I was so skeptical about this book before, it never had a chance. Especially not with Brian Chew sitting beside me ranting about the idiocy of the book. It all made sense to me, in context. Nevertheless, I've fallen inlove with the book. Yes, it is the typical fairytale story but if it doesn't exist in reality why not indulge in the fantasy ? The passion and the humor, I love it.
My only problem with this whole story is Bella Swan. I can't tell how much of her attraction is truly love or if it is only because he is the ultimate predator and everything about him attracts her. I keep thinking .. what about Edward is so different, so much better than all the other males that dote on her. But I suppose love isn't controllable. However, after reading Midnight Sun I fully understand his love for her. That I have no doubt.
With an open mind the irony and the humor is just hilarious and the love simply makes me smile at the thought of it. It is definitly a good read not for the intellect or how the story is told, but the concept of it all. The supernatural, the passion, the possibilties and its ability to just take me out of reality. I love it : ) .

THOUGHTS: It doesn't need to be circled, just get to the point.I never really thought about it before but when I shop I'm very direct and I don't really dawdle unless I have time and I really just want to walk around. Most of the time if there's something I want, I find it. Once it's found, a decision is made by myself. I don't like asking for other people's opinion. There's no point to it because really it's all about your opinion. If you put it on and you think it makes you look fat .. you're still gonna feel that way after you've talked to your friends, purchased this article of clothing and are trying to make it work monday morning for school. Being a good shopper is being a person with confidence and self respect. You need to know what you want and work for it.
